My mentorship journey took a defining turn in 2023 when I attended the Molives Mentorship Program. What began as a learning experience has since evolved into a foundational pillar of how I engage with entrepreneurs, particularly within Micro Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) in several value chains, industry sectors and individual career progression.
Through applying the GROW Model, I have been able to merge mentorship with strategy and training by creating a more holistic Business Development Services (BDS) approach. Rather than treating mentorship as a standalone activity, I now integrate it into enterprise development by aligning it with business diagnostics, capacity building, and growth planning. This has significantly strengthened my positioning within the BDS ecosystem, opening up pathways to work more effectively with micro and small enterprises.
Equally valuable has been being part of the Molives Alumni network. This community continues to be a space of shared learning, reflection, and collaboration. It reinforces the idea that mentorship is not a one-directional process, we grow as we guide others. Within this network, we continuously
exchange insights, challenge perspectives, and deepen our practice, making mentorship a living, evolving journey.
What I like most is to give back within the network through programs, graduations and team cohesion within the alumni. The role of serving while mentoring is the heartbeat to this journey and enabling my mentees learn the fundamentals from me in deed and not text book approach.
Today, my mentorship practice is anchored in structure, enriched by community, and driven by impact. The Molives experience not only equipped me with tools but also expanded my perspective therefore, allowing me to contribute more meaningfully to enterprise development by bridging mentorship, training, and strategy.
